Overview

The AI Report Generator is an intelligent module designed to assist clinicians by automatically creating reports based on patient interactions. Originally part of IQLINIQ, it can also function as a standalone tool. It transcribes audio recordings anonymously and combines them with existing patient data and prior reports to generate structured, actionable clinical reports.

Clinicians spend a big chunk of each day writing session reports, time taken straight from patient care. Key problems:

Manual documentation can lead to inconsistencies and delayed follow-ups
Trust in AI-generated content is critical in clinical settings

My research surfaced:

Clinicians described report-writing as unavoidable overhead that competed directly with time spent on patients
When documentation lagged behind sessions, detail and consistency slipped and follow-ups got delayed
Existing automation tools missed clinical context and couldn't guarantee privacy, so clinicians didn't trust them. Anonymity was the precondition for using AI on sessions at all
